Unleash the future of performance with the Scudetta. Hitting the scales at a feathery 182 grams, and made almost exclusively from bio-based materials, the Scudetta gives every player the chance to perform at their peak, whilst reducing their impact on the planet.
It’s made from innovative materials, it’s super lightweight, and it’s part of a bigger scheme to change football for good. It’s one of the lightest speed boots on the market, it’s the cheapest premium speed boot on the market, and it’s made of corn waste, wood fibres, sugarcane, bamboo and castor beans. It also includes recycled polyester from plastic bottles.
First worn by Nigeria captain William Troost-Ekong during AFCON 2024, a tournament in which Troost-Ekong was awarded Player of the Tournament, we are hoping the new iteration of this boot raises awareness about the damage that football has on our environment, and how making better choices can have a positive impact.
The Scudetta has a Bio-Touch vamp that moulds to the feet, with a knit collar hugging the ankle. The non-stretch midfoot provides lock down when cutting, combined with an aggressive, fast outsole to increase push off and traction and the suede-like lining and tongue provides an extra soft on-foot feel. The soleplate of the boot is made of 89% renewable carbon from castor beans, with an insole made of 64% sugarcane. There is a slight 3D effect on the vamp to help it remain lightweight whilst increasing grip/touch on the ball and the graphics on the insole, vamp and outsole are inspired by topography - the parts of a map that help you read the height of a landscape. The laces are made of 100% recycled plastic bottles, and our packaging is 50% sugarcane, and 50% wood.
It’s a high-performance boot, that is ready to change the game, on and off the pitch.
✅ Most of the materials in the Scudetta have a bio-based origin: these come from corn waste, wood fibres, sugarcane, bamboo and castor beans.
✅ It also includes recycled polyester from plastic bottles
✅ It is fully vegan, and certified by the Vegan Society
✅ It’s one of the lightest boots on the market at 182 grams
❌ It’s bio-based but not biodegradable - you can’t chuck this in your compost
❌ It’s a good start, but lots of the materials are still mixed with plastic. This is because the technology isn’t advanced enough to create fully bio-based materials that are resilient enough for football boots.
❌ It wasn’t made to be recyclable in the traditional sense, but we do have a football boot recycling scheme that would be able to turn it into other things.
❌ It’s not carbon neutral, nor is it circular
